"No Guarantees" is about my life...and I guess yours in some ways, about spirituality, relationships and being. There are not too many things that are 100% guaranteed in this life. This blog is one of them!
I sometimes make things in my shed from wood, I drink coffee with people for a living, I read, I walk, I paddle, I spend time discovering stuff about a person called Jesus and I live with and love Mikaela, Andy and Sophie my three kids and Christine my amazing wife...and Max my Border Collie...and some chooks...and a rabbit called chook.

oh, Dorothy Day. Let me tell you I am still recovering from reading Dorothy Day, especially with friends in the Catholic Worker in Brisbane, and after years of trying to live communally in a poor neighbourhood…she is strong medicine – absolutely inspiring – but not for the faint-hearted.
She said (and lived) “Anything that I possess that I don’t actually need is stolen from somebody else”.
(So she kind of owned…nothing. Now who is it that reminds me of?)
chew on that for a while if you have a conscience about consumerism. My conscience can only take so much.
