One of my many pommy neighbours loaned me the DVD series of Life on Mars a BBC cops and robbers show set in 1973…with a twist.
It’s been fun watching an episode every now and then in a spare moment. Not a bad show, great old style cops, leather jackets, big collars, side burns, everyone smokes, a “PC” does not get plugged in and put on a desk but rather he wanders the street in a big hat, cops can beat up crooks in the interview room, they all drive Ford Cortina’s!
Fun show, look out for it as I did see it advertised on ABC recently.
