Had to share this one – (Thanks Garth)
A worldwide survey was conducted by the UN.
The only questionasked was:
“Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?”
The survey was a huge failure…
In Africa they didn’t know what “food” meant.
In Eastern Europe they didn’t know what “honest” meant.
In Western Europe they didn’t know what “shortage” meant.
In China they didn’t know what “opinion” meant.
In the Middle East they didn’t know what “solution” meant.
In South America they didn’t know what “please” meant.
And in the USA they didn’t know what “the rest of the world” meant.
Possibly : “…in Australia the understood the question but couldn’t be bothered writing a reply.” or “…in Australia they understood the question but wanted to wait to see what everyone else thought first.”
i agree with dullache…we understood but couldn’t be bothered writing the reply – charlie
I like it, but it also sadly depressing! Oh what a world we live in, hurry up Jesus and sort out this mess.
i was thinking more along the lines that Jesus would be saying, “you live in this world so hurry up church and sort out this mess”
actually it put a smile on my face to see it there….no probs!
