I can’t put it down!
I am looking forward to getting Thomas Kennealy’s new book. He is writing a 3 volume history of Australia. Called “Australians”. Pt1 this year pre-white history to Eureka, then Pt2 late next year and 3 in 2013.

I read this one too recently and found it absolutely first rate. My ‘dutch’ connection – Tamara’s parents have read it also and have commented on how riveting they found Dash’s descriptions of life in 17th century Holland. I now have a small model of the Batavia in my bookcases, so taken was I with the whole story.
